Mike Kautsch is a professor in KU’s School of Law and serves as director of the School’s Media Law Clinic. Mike was a journalist for 10 years, then served as dean of KU’s School of Journalism before joining the law school in 1997. He works with Topeka attorney Mike Merriam to conduct the Mike and Mike Show, a program designed to educate public officials, journalists and citizens about the Kansas Open Meetings Act and the Kansas Open Records Act.
